Experience Field Day

Posted 04 December, 2009

It is without a doubt that Field Day is well and truly… a Field Day!

With unique experiences at every corner including cocktail bars, wild and shocking films at the outdoor cinema, the best of Sydney’s burlesque scene and dozens of other surprising performances, it's no wonder why Field Day has become an iconic event on the Sydney social calendar.

Cinema Area
Jay Katz of SBS Movie Show and Miss Death of FBi’s Naked City will be diving deep into their archives to unleash the most diverse and eclectic short film program ever seen at a music event, including:
* Educational absurdities from the 60’s and 70’s, which could include anything from sex education to drunk driving and drugs (school room scare films)
* Lost trailers from martial arts, Sci-Fi, horror and rock musicals
* Examples of the wild side of world cinema
* Rare burlesque
* Plus much, much more!

Cocktail Bar
Take a step back and enjoy the ambiance with a cocktail in hand at one of our bars located on site. You can find our delicious cocktails from Left Field, The Garden Bar and VIP area.

The Woods Stage
From burlesque dancers to indie live acts, garage punk tunes and loads more in-between; this stage gives you a different experience from a typical festival. Nestled in amongst the trees, with plenty of lush grass and shade to relax in, this stage is a must. Make sure to take a break from the dancefloor and experience a whole other world at Field Day.
