FENCE JUMPING
There will both security and police at this year's event around the fence line to deter and catch fence jumpers.

SNIFFER DOGS
Many festivals and events across Australia have been targeted by sniffer dog operations. Fuzzy do not support illegal drug use or possession and anyone found with illegal substances will be handed over to the police. Possession of even a small quantity of illegal drugs can lead to a criminal conviction and a criminal record for life, not to mention a bad day.

WRISTBANDS
Upon entry, patrons will be issued with a wristband. Anyone found inside Hear & Now without a wristband will be treated as though they have entered the venue illegally.

ENTRY PROCEDURES
Hear & Now is a fully licensed over 18’s venue, police and liquor licensing requires that we check every person who comes to Hear & Now for photo ID. To ensure quick entry please make sure you have your photo ID and ticket ready for presentation at the gate. You may also have your belongings checked for restricted items and may be subjected to a metal detection and or a pat down check for concealed weapons. All these checks do slow down the entry process so we thank you in advance for your patience.

SUN/RAIN PROTECTION
Hear & Now will be happening whether it's rain, hail or shine, so please bring appropriate protection from the elements.

FIRST AID
We want you to have the best day possible so to ensure your safety we have employed a fully equipped first aid team to be on site for the duration of the event. We need you to be a responsible patron by ensuring you always know where the first aid station is, looking out for your friends (and taking them to the first aid station at the first sign of trouble), drinking plenty of water and making sure you take breaks during the day.

EFTPOS
There will be one Eftpos location on site for Hear & Now however as this event is in a park our Eftpos machines run by a mobile phone signal which means that there may be times during the day when we are unable to do cash outs so please make sure you bring enough cash to enjoy your day.

MUSIC VOLUME
Music Volume at ALL outdoor events is subject to strict EPA rules and may vary depending on time of day, weather conditions and many other factors.

EAR PLUGS
Sound at this event may reach levels that can damage your hearing. Free earplugs will be available from the First Aid Tent.

LOST & FOUND
All lost and found during the event will be handed into the cloakroom. If it is not there don’t despair as often things turn up after the event. Please call Riverstage (07) 340 37921 one week after the event to enquire about any lost property.
