Past Event: Sydney Festival - Festival First Night

After taking Sydney by storm last summer, Festival First Night is returning with an epic, free celebration to mark the opening of Sydney Festival 2009 on Saturday January 10.

It is anticipated that 250,000 people will flock to the city again as the Sydney’s streets, parks and laneways are transformed into one massive dance floor, with more than 600 artists on 10 open-air stages spread across Sydney’s CBD.

FUZZY HOSTS 2 STAGES AT SYDNEY FESTIVAL FIRST NIGHT


On Saturday 10th January Fuzzy will join forces with Sydney Festival to host the biggest street party that Australia has ever seen!

Festival First Night is a free party for Sydneysiders and visitors alike. With over 600 artists performing in seven different precincts there is something to suit all tastes as streets, laneways and parks are given over to a day and night of music, dance and celebration.

Fuzzy will be hosting two stages located in College St and Macquarie St from 7pm -11pm with performances from Santogold, A-Trak, Busy P, DJ Mehdi, Ajax + more!

With road closures throughout the city this is a unique opportunity to take the city back and show Sydney how we like to party Fuzzy style.
