Locals Lawn NYE Family Zone

LOCALS LAWN FAMILY ZONE

31 December 2025 | Bondi Beach NYE

The Locals Lawn Family Zone is a free NYE celebration created especially for our local community. Set adjacent to elrow Bondi Beach XXL, the space will feature its own bars, roaming performers, and plenty of room to gather with friends and family to watch the 9pm fireworks. It’s our way of giving locals a front-row seat to the NYE atmosphere — right in their own backyard. Tickets are free, but essential.

New Year’s Eve is back in Bondi for the first time in over a decade, and understandably – everyone is excited! To ensure the process for redeeming tickets to Locals Lawn is as stress-free and fair as possible, we will be running a ballot.

You can submit a ballot entry here. You’ll need to nominate how many adult (18+) and child (under 18) tickets you would like. Please note all under 18 ticket holders must be accompanied by a guardian.

The ballot is open to people who live in eligible postcodes only, everyone who will receive a ticket from your entry must also reside in an eligible postcode.

Successful ballot entrants will be selected at random from the 2026 postcode first, then at random from the remaining Waverley Council postcodes, and finally at random for those who reside in neighbouring postcodes.

Tickets are very limited, so when successful entrants are notified they are then required to redeem their tickets. If tickets are not redeemed by the cutoff date they will be returned to the pool for another entrant to redeem.
