New Year’s Eve is returning to Bondi Beach for the first time in over a decade, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you! elrow Bondi Beach XXL and Locals Lawn Family Zone will both kick off from 6pm, with large crowds expected to be travelling to Sydney’s most iconic shoreline, it’s safe to say that to make the most of the last moments of 2025, it’s best to be prepared.

More info CloseThe Locals Lawn Family Zone is a free NYE celebration created especially for our local community. Set adjacent to elrow Bondi Beach XXL, the space will feature its own bars, roaming performers, and plenty of room to gather with friends and family to watch the 9pm fireworks.

Entry Conditions
More Info CloseFor the comfort, safety, and enjoyment of all patrons, the following Entry Conditions apply to elrow Bondi Beach XXL:
- You must have a valid ticket or other authorisation/accreditation to enter the event;
- Patrons will be required to present photo ID as proof of age upon entry and upon request within the event. The ID document must be current and include a photo of the person and their date of birth. Nationally recognised forms of identification include:
– Australian or Foreign Drivers Licence
– Australian or Foreign Passport
– Australia Post Keypass - This is a fully licensed 18+ event. Alcohol sales are restricted to patrons 18 years and over and subject to Responsible Service of Alcohol and Harm Minimisation Practices. We are prohibited by law from serving liquor to intoxicated persons and minors;
- Any patrons found engaging in secondary supply of alcohol to minors, (both minors and adults) will face penalties and eviction from the event
- Any person gaining unauthorised access to this event may be liable to prosecution;
- Any person found not to be wearing an official event wristband will be ejected from the event;
- Organisers reserve the right to search all persons and all personal possessions at the time of entry to the venue. Failure to comply will mean you will be prevented from entering the event;
- Activities such as ‘stage diving’, ‘moshing’, ‘climbing’ and ‘crowd surfing’ are strictly prohibited;
- Persons causing a disturbance or refusing to comply with requests from Security will be ejected from the event;
- The promoter reserves the right to refuse entry or reject patrons from the event at its sole discretion;
- The promoter or venue shall not be held liable for loss, injury or damages sustained entering or at the event;
- By entering this event site, you agree to be filmed or photographed which may be used for marketing or promotional purposes;
- The promoter reserves the right to vary advertised programmes and to add, withdraw or substitute artists where necessary;
- Sound at this event may reach levels that can damage your hearing; free earplugs are available from first aid;
- Volume levels at all outdoor events vary depending on many factors such as EPA noise restrictions and may or may not be as loud as an indoor event;
- Smoking and the use of e-cigarettes is only permitted in designated smoking areas;
- No passouts will be permitted (which means no re-entry into the event once you leave);
- Any person bearing or wearing gang colours, patches or insignias are not permitted entry to the event;
- Anyone found to be breaking conditions of entry inside or outside the event or any behaviour deemed to be anti-social will be refused entry and/or ejected from the site without refund;
- By using our medical facilities, you consent to the promoter having access to your medical records.

Things You Can't Bring
More Info CloseThe following restricted or prohibited items are not permitted by patrons into the event:
- Glass bottles or cans including perfume and makeup;
- Any liquids including alcoholic beverages, e-cigarette liquids and sunscreen pump bottles;
- Illicit drugs;
- Aerosol products;
- Knives or other dangerous weapons including potential missiles;
- Flares, fireworks or sparklers;
- Lasers or laser pointers;
- Animals or pets (other than assistance animals);
- Professional recording or broadcast devices without the promoter’s permission;
- Drones or other airborne recording/photography devices;
- Flags with poles, large flags or banners that may obstruct the view of other patrons;
- Any item that you intend (or such quantities of the item from which Management can reasonably infer that you intend) to – distribute, hawk, sell, offer, expose for sale or display for marketing or promotional purposes;
- Large items including eskies, drink coolers or ice boxes;
- Umbrellas;
- Plastic sealed or opened drink containers (only empty reusable water bottles are allowed into the event);
- Metal drink bottles;
- Food;
- Picnic rug or chairs;
- Any dangerous goods;
- Any backpacks or bags over the size of an A4 piece of paper, or determined by Security as oversized;
- A bad attitude: any form of homophobia, transphobia, racism, sexism or ableism will not be tolerated and may result in ejection from the event;
- Any other items as determined by Security or Management that may cause injury or public nuisance.
Medication under the following conditions may be brought into the event:
- Must be in its original packaging/untampered
- With a label/script that matches the ticketholder ID name
- Only a daily dosage is permitted
For patrons with extreme food allergies, food may be brought into the event under the following conditions:
- It is wrapped in clear plastic wrapping
- You can provide a doctor’s note or medical form showing proof of allergy
Planning For The Weather
More Info CloseBoth elrow Bondi Beach XXL and Locals Lawn Family Zone are outdoor events that will go ahead rain or shine. Please check the weather forecast in advance and dress accordingly, brush up on the prohibited items list above to make sure you aren’t bringing anything along that you won’t be able to bring into the event.
Stay Sun-Safe
Protect yourself from the sun by wearing a hat and sunglasses. Personal sunscreen is not permitted inside the event, but free sunscreen is available at the Party Safe tents and at Medical. Don’t forget to stay hydrated – free water stations are available throughout the event. Please note that only empty, clear and reusable water bottles are allowed inside. Rain-Ready
If rain is expected, we recommend bringing a poncho, raincoat and gumboots to stay comfortable. Please note that umbrellas are not permitted for safety reasons.
Getting There and Back
More Info CloseWith large crowds and very limited parking, the easiest way to get to elrow Bondi Beach XXL and Locals Lawn Family Zone is by public transport. Frequent services run from Sydney CBD, Bondi Junction, and surrounding Eastern Suburbs. Trains to Bondi Junction connect with buses that take you directly to the beach, or you can enjoy a scenic walk down Bondi Road. Traffic will be heavy approaching the beach so allow plenty of extra travel time if travelling by rideshare or taxi. Carparks at Bondi Beach will be closed for the event and on-street parking in Bondi is very limited so leave the car at home and catch public transport instead.
To plan your trip, use the Transport for NSW Trip Planner or download the Opal Travel app. You’ll need an Opal card or a contactless credit/debit card to tap on and off trains, buses and ferries.
We recommend beating the traffic and heading to the area nice and early to visit one of the many incredible restaurants, bars and eateries celebrating New Year’s Eve with us! You can find some of Sydney’s favourites here.
Train
The closest station to Bondi Beach is Bondi Junction on the T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line. From Bondi Junction, catch a Route 333 or 380 bus to the beach. Extra services will be in place for New Year’s Eve and return services will also run after the event.
If you are travelling from the City, trains to Bondi leave from Central Station and Town Hall Station. Plan ahead and visit the Transport for NSW Bondi NYE website.
Bus
Plenty of regular route buses run between Bondi Junction an Bondi Beach or between the city and Bondi Beach. Please be aware that due to major road closures in the Sydney CBD for the NYE fireworks, buses to Bondi will not depart from Circular Quay after 12pm, go to Martin Place until 5pm, then Hyde Park from 5pm til late.
- From the City/Bondi Junction: Route 333 buses run to Bondi Beach from the city via Darlinghurst, making stops on Elizabeth Street at key stations (including Martin Place, St James and Museum) and Bondi Junction.
- To the City: after the event, Route 333 buses travelling towards the city via Darlinghurst will leave from the beach on Campbell Parade near Hall Street. Walk to the right when exiting the venue for access to bus stops.
- From the Eastern Suburbs: catch Route 380 buses from Watsons Bay to Bondi Beach via Military Road.

Metro
The M1 Line operates turn up-and-go Metro services in both directions between Tallawong, Chatswood and Sydenham.
On New Year’s Eve, metro services will run every 4 – 5 minutes through until New Year’s Day. Services then resume a 10-minute frequency on 1 January from first service. Change at Martin Place or Central to connect with T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra line trains to Bondi Junction then buses down to Bondi Beach.
Light Rail
L1 Dulwich Hill Line: Runs between Central and Dulwich Hill, stopping at key locations. Connect at Central to T4 trains and buses to Bondi Beach.
L2 Randwick & L3 Kingsford Lines: Run between Circular Quay and Randwick/Kingsford via Central. Connect at Central to T4 trains and buses to Bondi Beach.
L4 Westmead & Carlingford Line: Runs between Westmead and Carlingford via Parramatta CBD. Connect via city trains to reach Bondi Beach.
NYE Service Changes: Services may be altered due to crowds and road closures. Please check NSW Transport for the latest updates and trip planning.
Ferry
Sydney Ferries are a great way to get around the city but services can be popular and may reach capacity, especially on NYE so allow extra travel time and consider the alternative transport options.
Due to NYE Harbour events, ferries will stop running on the harbour from 5.30pm so have an alternative plan in mind.
Car, Taxi & Rideshare
Travel by car is not recommended. Bondi Beach car parks will be closed and street parking is very limited. Traffic approaching Bondi Beach will be heavy along Bondi Road, Old South Head Road, and Syd Einfeld Drive. If you must drive or use taxis/rideshare, allow plenty of extra travel time and aim to arrive early.

Bicycles
Feel free to ride your bicycle, but please be aware of road closures and ride safely while being mindful of the large crowds during the event.
Don’t drink and ride – bicycle riders are subject to the same alcohol restrictions as drivers.
Road Closures
More info CloseTraffic approaching Bondi Beach will be heavy along Bondi Road, Old South Head Road and Syd Einfeld Drive. If you have to drive or are catching rideshare and taxis, allow plenty of extra travel time and aim to arrive early.
Motorists are encouraged to avoid the area or allow extra travel time and prepare for lengthy delays. Some car parks around Bondi Beach will also be closed for the event.
A section of Park Drive South (carpark behind Bondi Pavilion, south of Beach Rd) will close from 10pm Saturday 27 December 2025 and will remain closed until 6am Sunday 4 January 2026.
A section of car park on Queen Elizabeth Drive between Campbell Parade and Bondi Surf Life Saving Club will close from 4pm Tuesday 30 December 2025 and will remain closed until 6am on Thursday 1 January 2026.
Road closures will be in place on Campbell Parade between Curlewis Street and Sir Thomas Mitchell Road from 11:30pm Wednesday 31 December 2025 to approximately 1am Thursday 1 January 2026.

Event Safety
More Info CloseFuzzy is committed to making the Bondi Beach NYE celebrations safe for everyone. We are working closely with NSW Health, NSW Police, NSW Ambulance, our security provider and other key stakeholders to prioritise your safety.
In the event of an emergency:
- Call 000 (triple zero) immediately for emergency services.
- If safe to do so, notify Fuzzy staff, security personnel, volunteers, or NSW Police on site – they can assist and alert Event Management.
- Follow all directions from emergency services and event personnel.
We also have a harm minimisation space, Party Safe, where you can access support, free water, and sunscreen if needed.
Stay aware of your surroundings, look out for others, and enjoy New Year’s Eve safely.

We are constantly working on ways to improve the event experience for our patrons. We understand that when deciding about whether to attend an event, knowledge is power, so here are some things that might be useful for you to know before you arrive.
The information below is constantly being updated. If anything is noted as not yet known, check back soon for updates.
Accessible Tickets
If you require an Accessible Ticket, purchase a ticket and then head to the Moshtix ticket page and click ‘Accessibility Information’ in the header to request that your ticket be converted free of charge. This ensures you receive accessibility information from us before the event and allows us to provision adequate resources on the day.
Carers / Companion Cards
We know that equal access can sometimes mean being accompanied by a carer. elrow Bondi Beach XXL and Locals Lawn Family Zone offers complimentary carer/companion tickets for Companion Card holders. If you’d like to request a companion ticket, visit the link below and fill in the request form. You’ll need your Moshtix order number (from when you bought/redeemed your own ticket) and a copy of your companion card.
IMPORTANT: We are more than happy to facilitate any companion swaps should your companion need to be replaced with someone else during the day. Just ask the Front Gate Manager or the Accessibility Manager and they will help organise this.
Accessibility Hotline
To help improve the experience for our accessible patrons we will be operating an accessible hotline on New Year’s Eve. The hotline phone will be monitored by the Accessibility Manager for the duration of the day and can be reached by phone call and text message. Please feel free to contact the hotline if you’re facing any access issues, need support, or have any questions related to accessibility. We strongly recommend contacting the number through WhatsApp, as mobile phone reception is likely to drop out as the festival gets busier.
The Accessibility Hotline number will be published closer to the event day and will only be active on Wednesday 31 December 2025.

Accessibility Liaisons
To help ensure a positive, safe experience for our accessible patrons, there will be a dedicated Accessibility Liaison Team on site. They will be stationed at the accessible entry point and in the accessible viewing area (at elrow Bondi Beach XXL). They can be reached by contacting the Accessibility Hotline number or asking any of our crew in yellow shirts. They’re there to help in any way they can so please reach out if you need assistance.
Assistance Animals
Assistance animals are welcome at this event as we understand that equal access can sometimes mean having one accompany you. Please ask one of our friendly staff or Accessibility Liaison Team for assistance. Assistance animals are trained to assist a person with disability and meet standards of hygiene and behaviour that are appropriate for an animal in a public place. If you would like to discuss how we can support you and your assistance animal on site before event day , please email accessibility@fuzzy.com.au.
Getting to elrow Bondi Beach XXL
Parking
There is no dedicated patron parking at neither elrow Bondi Beach XXL or Locals Lawn Family Zone. The closest public parking is at the Pacific Bondi Carpark (Wilsons) on Curlewis Street. We strongly suggest booking in advance as it will sell out.
Event Drop Off/Pick Up Point
The accessible drop-off and pick up zones are located on Campbell Street between Roscoe Street and Hall Street. This is a short distance from the main entries with dedicated Traffic Controllers. You can cross Campbell Parade on a curb cut path intersection with pedestrian lights. Access onto Queen Elizabeth Drive is paved and curb cut.
Accessible Entry (elrow Bondi Beach XXL)
The accessible lane is located at the main entrance on Queen Elizabeth Drive (for main entry) and the Lower Promenade path (VIP entry) and is identifiable by an “Accessibility Entry” sign. It’s on a concrete path and is the best place to exit when you’re leaving elrow Bondi Beach XXL. If you need assistance during the entry process, please contact the Accessibility Hotline. Please note that the pavement path onto elrow Bondi Beach XXL is slightly sloped.
Moving Around the Site (elrow Bondi Beach XXL)
From the entry point, a continuous concrete path leads straight to the viewing platform. Throughout the event, there are several other concrete pathways, with grass covering areas without paved access. While these pathways are generally accessible, they can occasionally become congested and some are slightly sloped. If you need help moving between areas, we encourage you to contact the Accessibility Hotline or ask any of our event staff for assistance.
Accessible Toilets (elrow Bondi Beach XXL)
There will be accessible toilets available on site, with one in the VIP area, two in the General Admission area, one behind Medical, one behind Party Safe and one external at the police compound. A map detailing their exact locations will be posted closer to the event. The accessible toilets are identifiable by this symbol:

Accessible Viewing Platform (elrow Bondi Beach XXL)
There will be an accessible viewing platform in the General Admission area. The viewing platform is solely for the use of our accessibility patrons plus one other (carer or friend). There is a continuous concrete path of travel from the Accessible Entry to the viewing area. Chairs are provided in this area. The viewing area will be staffed by our friendly event team who are there to help in any way they can.
The viewing area will be identifiable by this symbol on a tall flag and the ground-level signage:

Event Facilities (elrow Bondi Beach XXL)
At elrow Bondi Beach XXL, the bars, Anything Anytime (Merch/Cloakroom) and Recycling will have Accessible service points with lowered counters. These will have signage above them that reads “Accessible”.
Lighting / Special Effects Considerations
During the show, there will be the following special effects on the stage:
- Flashing lights
- CO2 bursts
- Flames
- Close Proximity Fireworks (9pm and midnight)
First Aid
elrow Bondi Beach XXL and Locals Lawn Family Zone will be operating an advanced Medical Facility and a crowd care, Harm Minimisation (Party Safe) space. There will also be an external Party Safe tent at the front entrance of elrow Bondi Beach XXL for any patrons who need care before they enter the event. The location will be available on the patron map, which will be published closer to the event day. The Medical and Party Safe team are there to support you if you’re feeling overwhelmed, unsafe, or are unwell.
Emergency Evacuation Procedures
In the unlikely event of a site evacuation, please make yourself known to the event staff and security and follow the directions to the closest Assembly Area. The Accessibility Liaison team will be available to assist you in this process if required and is briefed to travel to the Accessible viewing platform to help and then to the Accessible exit point.
